I just updated udev to 132 and rebooted, no problema.

what seems to have happened on one of my systems is that /etc/udev/udev.conf
disappeared. This, combined with the fact that on the next reboot, udev
rewrote /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and caused me to lose my
network, as it renamed eth0 to eth1.

I took me a while to spot that.

All solved now and running ok.

I thought commit 6df687ae770f6eaae9110affb13cd66c5aef68fa fixed this? If you're willing, can you reproduce?

I only tried this update on one box and it's worked so far. :)
