Irrelevant... you restrict it by alone... thus it's not Free Software...

Fonts != Programs

And the SIL Open Font License requires that it is redistributed with a
program(a simple helloworld.c would work there). I looked into this... This
is simply z-rejected material...

You can't apply a license that is used for some other type of work and use
it on another type of work without actually reading why it is so...

Considering I haven't really seen any such "abuse" as they seem to be
afraid off(and that the povray guys seem to be afraid of as well
coincidentaly).

They should consult licensing AT fsf.org if they actually want to claim it as
such.
