Just a word of caution: This spell is still experimental, I have
tested it only on my x86_64 box with xorg-server.
It now should compile on 2.6.23.* kernels and I have changed some
install paths to match what xorg-modular expects. Chances are that it
overwrites some opengl files from mesa, I'm not that surefooted in the
xorg filesystem structure to say that for sure.

I am really confuse about the version numbering scheme upstream uses.
They now call the download link "Catalyst" and use version 7.11. But if
one extracts it and calls the helper script for distributors, it
announces version 8.433. I have decided to stick with the number
provided by upstream, even if 8.43.3 seems more logical.
