Hello everyone,

The meeting logs from 2005-05-08 are available[0].

Summary:

ISO
* Karsten and David Kowis are working on the more modular installer scripts
* Benoit is working on the current scripts and fixing bugs
* The QA Team is helping test these scripts
* No ETA for any of the scripts
* -test ISOs will be released weekly or bi-weekly (when possible)

Sorcery
* Most of the features for our RoadMap[1] will be in by 1.14
* 1.12.1 will be released this week
* 1.12.2 will be released in about a month
* We have decided to remove the build_depends requirement for 1.0
* Sub-depends have been moved from 1.15 to 1.14
* Sorcery -test releases will now be announced to the mailing lists and
FreshMeat

Grimoire
* The "50 open bugs" now applies only to stable grimoire and bugs marked
Priority P3 or higher (P3, P2 or P1)
* Cleanup of config_query and local variables is moving forward, but slowly
* Grimoire Handbook Update is in the works
* Duplicate dependencies have some work done, but are low priority
* SVK[2] is being tested as a possible SCM for the grimoires
* The WSU LUG[3] may host the test SVK grimoire
* gcc 4.0 is getting ready for test (basesystem at least).
* This update will go more easily due to the use_gcc function in Sorcery

QA Team
* Seth and Andrew have an rough draft of their outline available[4], but
Seth
will submit a more formal one after he cleans it up
* The first iteration of stable-rc will be branched today and testing begun
* Requests for stable should not be approved by the requester (in case the
requester is the requestee, other than Thomas Houssin for security updates)
* Stable grimoire releases will be versioned, but the end-user will not
notice
this

Miscellaneous
* Games grimoire is looking for more gurus
* Enthrall is looking for more users/testers
* Proposed SM-Commit mailing list for Perforce (and other SCMs) commits
approved

Thanks to all who showed up!
