Howdy, all--

Regarding Keya Acharaya's InterPress Service piece on the Svalbard
seed vault project.

Please include url address with abstract or first paragraph of articles. The IPS site no longer posts this article and a search on IPS yields nothing for "Global Seed Vault." (??)

Search engines can easily find just about anything if you

a) look through the piece in question for a phrase that isn't likely
to appear in m/any other articles

and

b) search on that phrase.

For instance to find this article's specific URL I searched on the phrase

criticising the newly-opened Global Seed Vault

at IPS's search engine. It was the first and only hit.

The article is available only to subscribers by now...but it's easily
found elsewhere on the World Wide Web because it was widely
retransmitted globally.

Using this strategy, the article was the first hit at AltaVista
advanced and Dogpile, the second on Clusty, the fourth on Gigablast,
and the first 20 hits on MetaCrawler. I don't use Google but expect
it would have the same result. YubNub showed 243 hits.

This strategy can generate information self-reliance on just about any topic.
