Dear all,
I have a little dilemma. A spring that is being used as a drinking point
for cattle in the Burren should by rights be fenced off and water
syphoned to a drinking point at least 20m away as per REPS
specifications. However, the site is listed in the SMR as containing a
Fulachta Fiadh and on the SMR map an area of c. 50m in diameter is
marked around the spring. Given the terrain it is not feasible to fence
off the entire site.
Any ideas?
Slán,
Ute
