Summer reading group members:

Let's thank Rhonda for putting together the below reading schedule following Percy's own chapter and section breaks. It provides roughly seven equal sections and will allow us to avoid the pitfalls of following different paginations for different versions of the novel for each weekly reading.

That said, I will follow-up individually with those who expressed interest in posting discussion questions on one Friday. I'll send out a finalized list next week that includes each person's name listed with their Friday slot. Again, please know members are always welcome to join back in at any time if you fall behind in the reading schedule.

It's great to see our group reading of Love in the Ruins now taking shape!
Henry

Hi Doug,

I’m covering the first section—July Fourth.  I suggest that we divide up the novel by sections and chapters rather than by page numbers because I have the same ancient mass market paperback that I used in college. Would that work for the slow read group? Or are the page numbers for the Picador edition preferable?

If readers prefer the section and chapter reference system, I’d be happy to set it up. I just need to know if we’re dividing into 6 sections? Or seven?

All the best to all!!

Rhonda
