Dear Percy-L:

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this summer's reading group and our stimulating discussion of Love in the Ruins. I’m delighted to say that this was our largest reading group yet.

It was wonderful to see new connections made, friendships renewed, and celebrate together our shared appreciation of Percy and his fiction.

If we continue with our plan to read the novels in order, next summer we will turn to Lancelot, Percy’s fourth, and darkest, novel, published in 1977. How will Lance Lamar -- and his obsessions with the moral decay of the world -- compare with Binx Bolling, Will Barrett, and Tom More? It will be fascinating to find out.

And, of course, stay in touch through Percy-L. Our community thrives when we regularly share our thoughts and musings on Percy or his writings.
