Dear Percy-L,

I wish to congratulate and give an early 250th Fourth of July salute to all participating in our LITR discussions this summer as well as to our larger listserv community. I think everyone will agree the conversations have been quite insightful and meaningful, and no doubt further great discussions are ahead!

As a brief interlude and update, I’m pleased to announce the launch of a newly redesigned homepage for the Walker Percy Project. Featuring a refreshed visual design, engaging imagery, and multiple navigation pathways into the website, the homepage now makes exploring Percy’s writings, life, and thought through the Project easier than ever.

I wish to note special thanks are due Sarah Chocron, a recent UNC–Chapel Hill graduate, for her outstanding design vision and contributions to the Project website. Along with developing a newfound appreciation for Percy, Sarah recently began a coveted position with The Jewish Federations of North America in NYC. We are deeply grateful for her work and wish her every success!

As always, the support, feedback, and volunteer contributions the Project receives are warmly welcomed as it continues its mission -- to provide free, comprehensive online resources and discussion opportunities on Walker Percy for audiences of all backgrounds, and to extend his literary legacy for others to enjoy and learn from.

Moving ahead, I look forward to our continued LITR discussion tomorrow as we await Leonard’s, no doubt, excellent prompts to come!
