I hope someone knows the answer to this one. At the end of The Thanatos Syndrome, Ellen tells Tom that a rich Jewish princess is coming in for a consultation. Who does she mean? The only one who comes in is one of his old patients and the book ends with Well, well, well. I missed something. I always love Percy's endings and I didn't get this one. Incidentally for those who have read it only, others are not to look ahead, my favorite thing in Lancelot is the last word. Janet Cantor |
