Ah a comment with a relationship in!
Misodendrum linearifolium is a semi-parasitic plant, growing on Nothofagus Antarctica and occasionally on N. betuloides.
Nothofagus is the Silver Beach genus.

This species also grows on Coihue (Nothofagus dombeyi),Raulí (Nothofagus alpina or nervosa), roble pellín (Nothofagus obliqua)and Lenga (Nothofagus pumilio), in Argentina, in the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, it also grows in Chile.
