hi all,

About the Permaculture Institute - Scott Pittman is super supportive of
this project, and we simply needed a non-profit to host us. (No worries
- hey won't be taking any of the money!)

And thanks for offering free contributions, Lawrence

peace

As I see it the $10K should go to three recipients:

Stephanie, to cover her time on this project

Chand and Rich can split the rest as they will likely be doing the
remainder of the work
that actually puts the database online and keeps it there.

ibiblio can host the entire project and will manage all server issues,
enabling R & C to
concentrate on creating a database that servers its purpose online.

My contributions will continue to be free.

Pardon my French but what the hell has the Permaculture Institute got to
do with this project?
They have contributed nothing so far, including even a single piece of
email to any of the PC lists in support of
what we have done/are doing/will do.
I hope they aren't skimming needed $$ off the $10K for their uses,
unlesss it is compensation for helping
get the grant, if indeed that did that.
