Dear Colleagues:

Seeking contributions to Pineapple News No. 27.
Please send contributions to Duane Bartholomew (duaneb74 AT gmail.com).
  1. The last date for acceptance of contributions is May 30, 2020.
    1. The deadline for papers in a language other than English is April 30, 2020.
    2. Machine translation using translate.google.com will produce a readable translation of technical material.
  2. Please follow the guidelines below when preparing your article for Pineapple News.

Content of contributions

Basic research and practical contributions on pineapple ecophysiology, culture, culture practices, plant nutrition, crop pest and weed control, processing, post harvest handling.

  1. Country or other reports on the pineapple industry in an area.
  2. For other articles, please contact me at duaneb AT hawaii.edu.

Article Preparation Guide

  1. The language of Pineapple News is English. ; however editing and translation help is possible for non-English papers. Translation for most languages can be done using https://translate.google.com/.
  2. Article length: variable and many examples can be found in back issues of Pineapple News.
  3. Article number: There is no limit to the number of articles that can be submitted by one or group of authors.
  4. Acceptance and publication of all papers is at the discretion of the editor.
Paper formatting
    1. Use the attached guide for technical articles.
    2. For general articles, use an 11 point Cambria font.
      1. Use a minimum of formatting in text and tables.
    3. Tables: Follow the attached guide.
    4. Figures and photographs:
      1. Submit all figures and photographs as jpg files.
      2. Photographs must have a minimum resolution of 800 pixels in the largest dimension.
