Hello, My name is Bryan Fisher. I am a 4th generation Cabarrus Co Beekeeper, queen breeder, and a NC Master Beekeeper. As a product of Dr Tarpy’s first “Born and Bred” program I breed bees for localized honeybee genetics and see locally adapted queens an essential part for long term honeybee survival. That said I would like to invite any members of your club who may be interested to join us in a day long queen rearing workshop May 21st  in Kannapolis NC from 9am to 4pm. We will cover all necessary things for rearing high quality queens using the Doolittle method (grafting). There will be several hours of in class lecture and hands on grafting exercises as well as setting up cell builders for raising queen cells. I would recommend everyone pre-register as I will have limited space. You will also need a veil/all equipment you wear to work bees and a bag lunch. Any problems or questions please call. 980-521-8642  I have attached a flier and welcome you to forward this to your members.

Thanks,

Bryan Fisher
