I don’t want them to then lay eggs.  About how long would you estimate I should leave them in the hive?  Maybe a tough question…

Thanks!

If you add the frames to another hive, the bees will clean them out when they get ready to use them.

I have a hive that starved to death.  Hundreds of bees with their butts in the air, crammed into cells.  A fair amount of capped brood too.  Two full frames of honey within 2-3 inches.  Oh well…

My question, I want to reuse the drawn comb.  Is there a good way to get the bodies and brood cleaned out?

Thanks!
