Hey All, Matthew Yearout went down and got the swarm and is installing them in a hive with a downtown beekeeper. Thanks for all the response! We will check the downtown hive in the morning to see if they came from there, but that is a new hive (late swarm cell split from last September) we moved from a nuc into 20 frames about two weeks ago. I'll let you know what we find. Would that be unusual that they would swarm so quickly? I didn't find any queen cells when I moved them up, but I could have missed one. Apparently it was at the beginning of a city council meeting, so there were cameras there. Luckily, Matthew didn't cry when he got stung! Catherine Sent from my iPhone
