Hi Kate,

Jack Tapp is just off I85 in Hillsborough.  He’s a local dealer for Brushy Mt(?) (I think), but he has everything you could possibly need.  He’s open on Saturdays, too, but I’d call first and make sure he’ll be there this weekend.

Sounds like you’re off to a great start.  Go girl!

Hey bee friends,

I went and checked on my ladies this afternoon and they seem to be doing spectacularly! The second hive body I put on earlier in the season is FILLED with honey, about half of it capped. There was not an inch to spare in the second hive body so I was thinking I should probably put a shallow super on ASAP so they have room to keep working. Being a beginning beekeeper I have no spare supplies but what is in my hive and it takes about a week or so to get stuff in the mail. Does anyone have a super, frames and foundation I can purchase from them or words of wisdom regarding my next steps?

thanks so much!

Kate
