Be sure there is no sugar water on the top or on the feeder. The ants won't really hurt anything. The bees ignore them unless they get in the hive in which case they kill them. You might spread a light film of salad oil around the feeder. If they're coming up the outside of the hive, try a little salad oil on their trail.
