All the NAFEX list message archives, in readable form, up to the SYMPA transition, available on thumb drive.
Originally the NAFEX list was for NAFEX members only and the message archives were not made public, only accessable by members with login.
Eventually consensus was that there were many people with interest, knowledge and expertise who should have full access to the list so that change
was made and later the archives were made public, a huge upgrade. Archives were now searchable with Google. Now it looks like things have returned to the stone age.
It is a good thing that I had the foresight to download the entire NAFEX list message archives, possible with the Mailman server software. They include all messages from the Yahoo days up to the present NAFEX
people coming on board as co administrators. They have a copy of this on the thumb drive I sent them. I have copies of those archives backed up on several hard drives. If anyone wants a copy of this on
thumb drive or microsd chip you can contact me at lfljvenaura@gmail.com and we can work out getting them to you. It takes 16 gb storage media. I doubt the sympa server allows archive downloads
so members will depend on their list subscriptions for archiving. Those who want this valuable resource can send me the drive plus a self addressed stamped envelope and I will copy and send you the archives.
I am doing this cost recovery only, no $$$, only the materials I mentioned. I downloaded my permaculture list archives too if anyone wants that. I am doing this a volunteer to help further the cause of NAFEX list members
who contributed so much over so many years, Lehman and Rombaugh especially.

SYMPO can't even handle the simplest procedureI kept entering all the correct login info and it never processed it, start over, give up.Anyone know what is going on or how to access the archives? Leslie?I volunteered my work for others, i.e. the general public, to enjoy and learn from. Noone is going to go through what seems to be required to read the archives now.So, all my work, down the drain and I can;t even enjoy it myself. The Mailman server worked perfectly.Am I missing something?
