Both apricot varieties that I bought from Cummins, and at premium prices, died badly. One from an incompatible rootstock, and the other one just died for no apparent reason in the middle of the spring, without any freezing weather.
No Gurney's tree or bush that I have bought has died.

I recommend you order a peach on a typical rootstock from someone like
Adams County Nursery, Cummins or the like. Why buy from some corporate,
mail saturation advertised company with a mediocre customer rating?
