Nineteen years ago I planted a Ure Pear along with two would-be pollinators. The pollinators died long ago and the self-sterile(?) Ure has remained barren until this year. For the first time, it is producing fruit, but only on the lower branches. Has anyone else had a self-sterile fruit tree that has become self-fertile?
