I was out taking advantage of the cool, dry weather to thin fruit today. I also thought to carry a pair of pruners with me. I very efficiently thinned fruit and performed my first summer pruning as needed on each tree as I moved through the orchard.
I can't believe that I had not combined these tasks before!
