Maria,
Using Google Images, you can search for pictures of chaenomeles (flowering
quince). Then on another page, images of pomegranate flowers, comparing
the two. Of those I'm familiar with, neither quince or pomegranate have 4
petals.

You may want to count petals again, and see if all flowers have 4 petals,
or are mostly 5. Close examination of the flowers should help you choose
between quince, pomegranate or viburnum.

Jesus said "By their fruits you shall know them", meaning fruit is perhaps
the surest form of true identity.
