Hello,

I too plan on grafting a few varieties of C.mas real soon. I had mixed
success last year grafting them. My best results were; using the freshest
scions, thinner scions that were not heavily lignified and grafting when the
rootstock had leaves the size of a squirrel's ear. A cleft graft was my best
graft. Hope thats helpful.

Hi,

I have dormant scions of Cornus mas - two rootstocks awake in pots in doors
and one planted rootstock about to open its buds (34 F lows).  Any
suggestions?

Thanks,
Steve NJ
