- Subject: [nafex] Self Fertile?
- Date: Sun, 17 Feb 2013 21:14:47 +0000
To The List:
(This question is largely academic, since I already have Lord Lambourne and
Sturmer Pippin on the property, which are both listed as partially self
fertile.)
In regard to Rambour Franc/Summer Rambo/Rambour d'Ete/Lorraine: it is listed
as self fertile in some sources, infertile in others. How does the backyard
orchardist test this?
Thank you,
Dave Liezen, Spokane, WA, zone 6, and just days after planting a Sturmer
Pippin whip made via cleft graft last season
