All this talk of kiwis has got me thinking about mine. So far only
Anna and a seedling have fruited for me. I found the seedling far
superior to Anna in taste and earliness. It was about 3 weeks before
Anna, green outside, and very soft, sweet, acidic, and delicious.
About half of my Anna crop did not fully ripen because it became too
late. I grew the seedling from, I think, 'Michigan State'. Planted two
out, and amazingly, got one male and one female!

Anyways, I was curious about how Anna ripens in the spectrum of hardy
kiwis. Is it late, middle, or early? I'd like to know, because I feel
I need to plant varieties that are earlier than that to ripen properly
here.

I also have Ken's Red, Michigan State, and some more that I can't
remember, but all are younger and have not fruited yet.
