Leslie,
Planted a white fruited form of Nanking Cherry (Prunus tomentosa) in
'92 or '93, in isolation. Bloomed profusely for years, never fruited.
Planted 30 seedlings of a red form (row run) at another site over a
mile away. These fruited well, and are still fruiting, those that
survived black knot. Now have about 20 seedlings of those at our new
site.
