Deer will definitely eat yucca. In my yard they eat the named varieties to the ground and will keep the new growth on native yucca mowed down all winter.

Slightly off-topic: Some critter ate my yucca this winter.

I don't think I've seen them eaten before.

I thought deer didn't like them.



I have all the usual suspects in my yard, at least occasionally.

Who could be the culprit?



Ok--- to make this post more on topic, have any of you eaten the flowers or
fruits of yucca filamentosa?
