- Subject: [NAFEX] Semi-dwarf apples + Deer =
- Date: Sun, 30 Jan 2011 09:51:02 -0600
So the deer had a party under the couple semi-dwarf Fuji trees we have
growing. Meticulously pruned every bud within reach which in some
places is upwards of 5 feet. So either I have very tall deer, they
stand on each other's shoulders, walk on 2 legs or they are borrowing
my ladder out of the shed.
I guess my question is, will the trees push any secondary or tertiary
buds that might be fruitfull this coming year? I'm pretty ignorant
about all things apple.
