Wonderful article, Betty. It's good to know more about those melons we enjoyed on our Russian trip that included Uzbekistan. The most wonderful melons I've ever tasted. I'm glad to hear people are trying them in Calif. We're too humid here. I brought home seeds but the vines perished.
