- Subject: [NAFEX] Evaluating Loquat cultivars
- Date: Sat, 22 May 2010 07:45:08 -0500
I was introduced to Loquat when in Central California. It had one seed per fruit and it was nearly as large as an Avocado seed. I really enjoyed the fruit and missed it when I moved to Minnesota. So, my brother, in Texas, sends me Loquats that have anywhere between two and five seeds per fruit and while they do taste good, I wouldn't say they are delicious, like the California fruit.
