Shenandoah was the best tasting pawpaw I ever
had. I also tried it at the Pawpaw conference. It's one of Neil
Peterson's introductions, patented and sold by his nursery. We have one
here and it fruited this past fall. Absolutely delicious! Just two
fruits on a small tree.

I liked Shenandoah best when I tasted fruits at the Pawpaw
conference in Kentucky. I'm not sure how hardy it is. They were
fertigated their trials in Kentucky and it made a large difference in the
fruit size of cultivars. You will probably need to make provisions for
irrigation of some sort here in New Mexico.
