Hi Doreen, I'm pretty sure my Hosui (yeah,
they're the best!) were harvested by coons. Every last one to the top of
the tree. We trap them now and it seems to control pretty well. They
also got my muscadine grapes. Hector Black, zone 6 middle

I shared my horror with all of you last September
when I found every Hoisu Asian pear was stolen from my
tree.
A few weeks ago, I caught the culprits
red-handed. And, I wrote about in my bi-weekly blog at the Christian
Science Monitor newspaper's website.
