If anyone has any questions about making Maple Syrup, I am available to answer questions. I've been doing it since 1972 and have used buckets, bags and tubing (including vacuum) for collecting sap. I've cooked it using the multiple-kettle-method, large iron pots, commercial (and home-made) evaporators. Right now I'm installing reverse osmosis because I'll be working alone this year. There are other kinds of trees used for making syrup.
Since Maple really isn't a fruit, you should contact me offline.
