Hello Bassem,
We've used the berries of the staghorn sumac to
make a kind of pink lemonade. Quite tasty. Berries can be
dried. I wonder if other sumacs have this same quality.

flavour. I know that it was used as a substitute for Lemon. It's still being
used widely today in salads and as a spice on
meats.
