I think Spidra has a typo in the text
Perry is basically hard cider made from apples.
Perry is as intimated earlier in the post cider made from pears. Perry pears, like most cider apples, are hard and offer different characters to the brew:- sweet, medium sharp, bitter-sweet and bittersharp.

In the UK imported Swedish pear cider (as described on the label) is popular amongst the young drinkers (legal purchase drinking age 18)
