Is there a cherry pitter available that will remove pits from sour
cherries?  The cherry pitters I have tried (for Nanking, North Star, Bali)
all push the cherry through the hole along with the pit.  Most Nanking
cherries simply fall through the hole.  What is available?

I'm not related to the Lehman Hardware folks, but our 16T pitter available works, we feel well, on Mountmorency sour cherry. Also on Doc's Duke, duke cherry, which is smaller than our sours. See my previous e/m on this subject.

It mashes the fruit, but who cares when they are in a pie!
