Not all fungicides are limited to preventive action.  I use Indar, an SI, for rescue missions and it will stop brown-rot in its tracks.  I hear Pristine is even more affective, I assume this also includes its' kickback.  The only problem is that these are commercial agricultural products and packaged to treat many acres so they are quite expensive for home orchard use unless you think of your purchase as a lifetime supply.  Pristine is also labeled for poms.

I have also found that on sites where peaches almost invariably suffer terribly from brown-rot a single Indar application a week or two before the ripening of the earliest varieties will often eliminate brown-rot for the entire season, including varieties ripening several weeks later.  Just another reason I celebrate the accomplishments of our hard working chemists!
