It can be purchased at www.3mpub.com/ashton . They put out a nice book with a glossy cover and good quality paper. There are also over 140 color pictures of different plum cultivars in the book. This was a joint effort with many people including several people with the USDA, Zaiger Genetics, the Library of South Dakota State University (N.E. Hansen's stored papers), the Luther Burbank Home and Garden Volunteer Association and as I mentioned comments of some members of NAFEX and several other entities.

Richard, where can one buy your book? -- Sam
I would like to thank all the members that made comments about plums cultivars. Your information was very helpful in compiling my newly published book Plums of North America. It turned out to be a very large book. Printed in "coffee table" size (8 x 10 inches) it still has 535 pages. With over 1000 cultivars, rootstocks and interspecific hybrids described I knew it was going to be sizable.
Thanks again for all your comments.
