I disagree.  I had a big Excalibur for 14 years?  Had it repaired twice.  I use it hard for at least two months out of the year.. pretty near 24/7.  Now I have a Stainless Steel Beast from Sausagemker (I think).  It is so amazingly sturdy and solid.  I think it is the best.

Agree with Hank that the Excalibur is the best home food dehydrator currently on the market. Good, but not cheap. A wise investment for the fruit producer. Works for venison too, if you have that.
