Michael, I have several small trees, not including a couple of successful cuttings. I am not sure they will survive the winter, so the cuttings will grow on indoors while the trees themselves will remain outdoors with some coddling. They should theoretically do OK here, but I know I am pushing the range for them.
I was hoping to try some seed in that there should be some variance in seed grown. I have already obtained osage orange seed locally to use for rootstock.
I was not aware that the gentic history for them in the states is limited.
Thanks
John

It's also very easy to propagate from cuttings.
The genetic diversity of che in the US is very small
so almost anything you get is going to have the same
level of cold hardiness.
