I just stir the PoP into the PB until it reaches a 'stiff dough' consistency, then fashion into peanut-sized balls and place in appropriate spots where they're likely to be encountered by the varmints.
I would caution you to keep them out of reach of pets and small children - I have no idea what, if anything, they would do to a dog or kid if they were to consume them.
