- Subject: [NAFEX] Small Fruits Question #1
- Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2007 17:25:33 -0700 (PDT)
Goji/wolfberry/Lycium barbarum has received a lot of attention in recent years and is now commonly available dried and in juices. I have had a plant for 3 or 4 years. It starts blooming in mid July and produces thousands of flowers, yet sets very few fruit. I only start to see fruit in October and have typically seen under a dozen small fruits. This year I have 1. I've propagated te plant and have another growing 40 miles away in different conditions and have seen no fruit on that one, but plenty of blossums. Pollinators service the flowers constantly.
Does anyone have any insight as to what I need to do to increase production?
Thanks
John
