I found a new apple at the grocery store this week.  Jazz.  It's about the size, color and shape of a Winesap and tastes remarkably like it. 

 

Do you know anything about this "new" variety.  Or could it be a marketing repackage with a jazzy name?  It is too early for Winesap, but perhaps this might be a variant.
