We use wool as mulch, but carefully. It binds up
mowers and some power equipment. Also, it does
not decompose very fast and that has to be allowed
for. I often use it in my strawberry trenches as
a long term nutrient source. We have shetlands and their
wool blends looks interesting as part of a edible landscape.
