The fact that the bees are also dieing in europe where for all intents and
purposes there are no GM plants, and that GM corn and soybeans have been
massively planted in the US for at least 5 years tends to indicate GM
plants are not involved in this falls/winter dieoff. The bees dieing are
from many different locals, many/most to far from GM corn or soybean
planting to actually ingest the pollen (bees only forage for a couple of
miles). The pollen is released in early summer, several generations of
bees before the ones who are dieing off. The bees store pollen in the
honey comb, so you could say it doesn't affect them until it gets cold,
but bees in florida and southern california are also affected which
negates this argument

There is very limited money for Bee research, to spend it on wild
speculation will just make it take longer before the real reason they are
dieing is found.
