One pair of Robins can do $200 worth of damage in my black raspberry patch. Make that $600 by adding their clutch of offspring. Now multiply that dollar figure by all of the other kinds of fruit-eating birds and multiple that by all other kinds of berries the dastardly birds eat. If the cat nay-sayers had their way and cats were minimized, we'd have an explosion in the bird population and no berries for ANT OF US to eat. I wish bringing more feral cats home would solve my bird problem.
