I think you'd have to use a lot of dirt on it, which wouldn't be such a bad idea. I know in England that any such compost pile would attract rats. Here, maybe more mice than rats depending on your situation. REALLY, if there is that much, it would be worth your while to buy or better yet make a barrel composter that you'd roll daily and have stuff composted in 2 weeks. Dump it out and start again. Have two, and fill one weekly. Look for some barrel composter plans, or just some plans for enclosed composting. Another alternative would be to get into the reworm business. LOTS of money to be made there if you play your cards right. Donna
