The interesting thing for me is that our government has been caught doing
everything it can to downplay global warming, so one could expect the USDA
maps to not reflect shorter-term trends, and perhaps they shouldn't. The
truth is out there, but probably not all in one place...

It's zero out there in northeastern NY state; I could use a little
localized warming here. At least the oil company is playing catch up.

Gotta go read some seed and nursery catalogs; that always helps!
