firstly,
i think apple seeds taste good.
they may in fact be poisonus
to some extent, but 25 years of seed eating,
12+ as an orchard farmhand have not hurt me.
(that i know)
the cider mill we use cuts nearly every seed,
i have never tasted any seed flavor in our cider.
